Bari forward Andras Gosztonyi wants to prove that he is worthy of playing in the Serie A, after joining the Biancorossi during the winter transfer period on loan from Hungarian side MTK Budapest.

“I am very happy to be here in Italy, and at Bari,” Gosztonyi stated to TMW. “I am aware that I have arrived at a club that has a lot of history behind it.

“I am slowly learning the city, and am getting help from [fellow Hungarian Vladimir] Koman in knowing places.

“This is a big chance for me and my career, and want to do my utmost to show that I am ready. I want to play to illustrate what I can do with the ball.

“I can use both feet, am fast, and if need be, can be used as a trequartista. When I have the chance, I can also shoot on goal,” concluded Gosztonyi.

Bari currently sit mid-table on 31 points, and play Cagliari this weekend.
