The future of the South Korean football team is in good hands, according to coach Huh Jung-moo.

Speaking to the-AFC.com, Huh said, “I am very happy with the rapid progress of this younger generation.”

“If we have a lot of good players in the future, then this will improve national team selection. We are trying to make sure our strengths are becoming stronger and that our shortcomings can be overcome.

“We are doing this through practices which are very repetitive and need to keep training to overcome weaknesses.

“This will make us better.”
